Weekly update 15/16 SEptember

Hey Wagon Comunity!


The Wagon is taking the week off pop-ups. In this time, we will be preparing for the many catering and weddings ahead.

Looking for a hospitality  job with variety? 

This could be your next position!!


We are seeking staff on a casual basis, up to 20 hours/ week. 

Shifts vary across Thursday - Saturday & Monday


Position involves:

- food handling 

- cash handling

- communicating with customers and colleagues 

- some shifts may involve PAID travel (provided) 


We are looking for an applicant/s who display exceptional all round abilities in both FOH and BOH food operation. The position is highly customer focused in an open kitchen with a tight knit team. 


We specialise in both public events and private catering and operate as a take away shop during the week. 


We strive to maintain high levels

of presentation, quality and customer service and are proud to have a high percentage of regular repeat customers. 


Workplace Advantages:

  •  Cash incentive for availability & reliability

  •  Training in both FOH, BOH & various service styles

  •  New work surrounding most days with access to many unique events

  • Paid Travel


Our I deal Candidate:

-full availability on Friday's & Saturday’s in particular

- drivers licence

- previous food/cash handling roles/experience preferred

- sense of urgency (fast paced enviroment) 

- well presented

Update Regarding Pop-up takeaway orders-


After much deliberation, we have decided to make ALL pop-up takeaway orders online ONLY. *



This decision has not been made lightly, however by doing so, will ensure we can continue to operate during this prolonged staff shortage period


*we will ofcource be on hand to assist with any ordering enquires/dificulties experienced.

Cash payments accepted and processed once menu is viewed online, please advise one of our friendly staff you wish to pay in cash when ready to place order.


Online ordering-

• Pre ordering available from Thursday each week


• Ability to pre schedual pick up time


• Our system spreads out orders and advises estemated pick up time, you will receive a text message when order is ready if you provide mobile number.


• Newly simplified checkout process with more pictures of items soon to be added
